In the recent concluded campus placements conducted by Committee for members in industry (CMII) of ICAI during September 2009, 1000 jobs were offered to the candidates from various sector , ICAI has been able to prove once again

Key Facts:
1. Highest salary offered is 1. Rs. 10.61 Lacs per annum and the Minimum Salary paid is Rs 3.00 Lacs per annum in the Campus Placement Programme.
2. The average salary offered to the candidates is about Rs. 5.42 lacs per annum.

Important features:

1. Shortest process cycle of Campus Placement Programme.
2. Candidates have been given two choices to meet the recruiting organizations. First at Bigger centers and second (if the candidates have not got the job offers at bigger center) at smaller centers.

These figures show that when institutions of international repute are finding it very hard to attract companies to their campuses, ICAI has proved itself as an important destination for companies to recruit entry level finance, audit and compliance executives.

This serves as a piece of good news for students pursuing CA profession that CAs are not prone to recession.
